New Undead 1: Tooth Fairies

Continuing the theme of terribly named undead, Tooth Fairies! (Seriously, if anyone has a better name, please help!)

An ancient tooth fairy that plagued human settlements for decades before being killed by a powerful band of heroes

The Tooth Fairies are a form of corporeal undead that obsessively hunger for teeth, formed when children die before they grow any of their adult teeth. Often found in tombs and graveyards they are very territorial, defending their horde from usurpers. Some of them, especially when they are newly risen, are forced into populated areas where they steal the teeth of the living.

Newly formed Tooth Fairies are essentially walking corpses, able to pass as human children, using their appearance and low cunning to entrap victims. They try to find isolated victims, using their abilities to put them to sleep while they extract their teeth. As they age their bodies fill up with the eaten teeth, their organs rot and their skin becomes leathery.

Older Tooth Fairies are much more powerful, drawing upon the magical energies of the stolen teeth to cast powerful sleep spells, allowing them to take their time with their victims.
